load spread option

Not a financial derivative, but rather a method of paying a mutual fund's sales fees (load). Used in a contractual investment plan (in which a fixed amount is regularly invested irrespective of the market trends), the fund deducts a certain percentage of each periodic contribution as a portion of the annual fee, thus spreading the load. also called spread load contractual plan.
