non dom

An abbreviation of "non-domiciled", a term referring to someone living in the United Kingdom who does not claim a principle residence there. A non dom pays taxes to the United Kingdom only on income or capital gains earned within the United Kingdom, but not on income or capital gains earned or stored outside of the United Kingdom.
