A fund established in 1999 by the Iran Foreign Investment Company as a Private Joint Stock company for the purpose of managing and expanding Iranian assets throughout the world. In ventures with countries such as Brazil, Egypt, Sudan and UAB, the fund holds assets in energy, telecommunications, banking, mining, oil, gas and petrochemicals.
