Philadelphia Stock Exchange

Founded in 1790, it was the largest stock exchange in the United States until it was acquired by NASDAQ in 2008. During its history, the exchange merged with the Baltimore Stock Exchange, the Washington Stock Exchange, and the Pittsburgh Stock Exchange.
