style investing

An investment strategy for managing a portfolio or separate funds that allows for the shifting of investment types when market conditions change. Style investing looks for indicators to determine what types of funds will do well under current conditions. Investments are then shifted for maximum growth potential based on such conditions from one fund to another like from small caps to large caps for example.
