Alan Greenspan

A former Chairman of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve. Greenspan was the first to hold this position for 5 terms, totaling a record 18 years in office. He helped guide the economy through the stock market crash of 1987 and the burst of the dot-com bubble. He was succeeded by Ben Bernanke.
