Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET)

Primary securities exchange for Thailand established in 1975 under the Securities Exchange of Thailand Act of 1974. The exchange provides a marketplace for the trading of listed securities and all the necessary resources utilized to conduct these transactions. Trades are made using an automated assets electronic trading system, which as of 2009 handles trades for 523 listed companies.
