stripped yield

A measure of the non-collateralized sovereign yield of a Brady bond, after all incentives and features are removed from consideration. Evaluating the stripped yield gives potential bondholders to evaluate the sovereign risk associated with the bond should there be a default on the part of the issuing nation.
